Based in Cape Town, South Africa, we are the leading importers and distributors of exquisite Italian cheeses. All our products come from micro artisans and farmers, who preserve the traditional and sustainable way of farming & cheese making, without the use of additive and preservative.

We offer our Blitz Braais range which consists mainly of all the sauces and spices you will need for a good South African braai.
Our most famous item being the Blitz Braais Basting Sauce, which is also the sauce used by Blitz Braais for spit braais.
The sauce is unique in the sense that it does not burn on to your meat, which also makes it the perfect marinade for any meat.
It is lovely with stews, chicken and mince as well.
Also in the Blitz Braais range, we have our Blitz Braais Sticky Sauce. This is a winner for ribs and chicken wings.
If sauces and marinades is not for you, we have the Blitz Braais Braai Spice and our own special Blitz Braais Salt & Pepper Mix, which is just the perfect mix of salt, black pepper, white pepper and red pepper corns together in one grinder.
In addition to the Blitz Braais range, we also offer the Scott & West range. These consists of pure spices, such as ground Black Pepper, ground White Pepper and ground Nutmeg are often blended down with cereal, maize flour or rice flour to lower production costs, resulting in a product of inferior quality still sold at a premium. You will be pleased to know that the Scott & West line of Premium and Pure Spices are exactly that – 100% pure, unadulterated ground whole spices. These intense spice products have a strong flavour and a little goes a long way; use them very sparingly in cooking, adding tiny amounts to taste. On the other hand, spice blends like BBQ Seasoning and Chicken Seasoning are usually diluted to form a well-balanced product. That will allow the proper application to food. If the spice blend is too strong you could easily over-spice your meal, but in a diluted form it can be sprinkled onto food liberally in order to achieve a pleasant and flavourful effect that is not too spicy. As an added convenience most of the Scott & West Spice Blends & Seasonings already contain salt, so there shouldn’t be any need to add more salt to your meal when using them. Be sure to taste the food while adding spices and make small adjustments so it isn’t too strong or too salty – it is easy to add more but impossible to rectify once you’ve added too much. Today, the majority of spices available on the market are irradiated. While this process is generally considered safe, many First World countries limit or prohibit the irradiation of spices because the long term results of submitting food products to even low grade ionizing irradiation is inconclusive as yet. In keeping with world standards, Scott & West spices are NOT irradiated – as such, they are however prone to deterioration in the same way as any other agricultural product. To prolong the life of your spices and preserve their natural flavour, store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

JOHNNY HEXBURG SAUCES
Johnny Hexburg is a chilli sauce range with a story.
Since our son was 3 he was into fishing and the outdoors. Give him a stick, a brick and a
piece of rope and he could play for hours. He was [and still is] a Bear Grylls fanatic. So,
whenever he was playing outside, pretending to be Bear Grylls or in the army, he always had
his counter-part Johnny Hexburg with him. His army men was named Johnny Hexburg. His rock
band was named Johnny Hexburg, everything was Johnny Hexburg.
When we asked him where he got the name from, he answered “I made it up”
This is how Johnny Hexburg became a household name to us and this was the inspiration of
the Johnny Hexburg chilli sauce range.
As parents we had a discussion with him and asked him if permission to use his name for the
sauces. We are trying to teach him [7 years old now] how to be an entrepreneur. He is
actively involved at Farmer markets with selling the sauces.
This range of chilli sauces is the most comprehensive range you will find. It is indeed one the
most sought after sauces in the market due to the unique blend of chillies, spices and herbs.
Traditional and authentic taste is our main goal and the Johnny Hexburg range is exceptionally

I live in Gardens and do 2 markets a week, City Bowl being my longest and favorite market!
I make all my food myself with no help from anyone else..
I was born in New Zealand, lived in Australia for 10 years and lived in London for 10 years and now here in Cape Town ( think this is my last stop)
I left my post grad in engineering to pursue my passion for food, cooking and people. This is where the "Ragamuffin" comes from: out of place and vulnerable, but also wide eyed and passionate. It embodies both my cooking style and stand theme: rustic and playful.
Voted the world's most delicious food in a CNN users poll, beef rendang is an Indonesian caramelized curry with plenty of spices, ginger, garlic, peanuts and coconut. It has a deep, rich flavour. Both familiar and different. We serve it either with rice, pumpkin and coleslaw; or on top of the gado gado (an Indonesian mixed salad topped with satay sauce).
For my pulled pork, I slow roast pork shoulder for twelve hours. This results not only in soft meat, but meat that is still juicy.
“Something Simple” is a unique approach towards healthy eating. It takes the style of wrapping
from sushi and the fresh delicious ideas of fillings from burritos and combines it into one
concept. This introduces a brand new product into the food market, (one that can only be

In the beginning our menu comprised of gourmet style Hot Dogs & Fries! Our market research was the neighbours living in our complex – I made up all the different hot dogs and asked everyone to taste and give feedback! DELICIOUS was the resounding response!
The most popular hot dogs by far are the Mexican Dog – layers of sweet chilli sauce, salsa, lettuce, tomato with a Frankfurter nestled between chopped Avo and Bacon, all drizzled with sour cream and the New Yorker Dog – layers of German mustard, lettuce, tomato with a Frankfurter nestled between sweet ‘n sour pickles and my home-made sauerkraut (cooked in Apple Cider)!
About a month later we added our amazing Burgers to the Menu! Our Burgers are made from 100% pure grass fed, pasture reared beef with only the freshest toppings and garnish! Most popular Burgers are the Bacon, Avo & Feta Burger + the Bacon, Avo, Camembert, Fig Burger and the Mexican Burger!
It’s hard work but we have a lot of fun at the Markets – we work alongside really great traders and we meet the most amazing people from around the world!

If you are looking to try a bit of everything at the market, we serve Rump Sliders, our starter option. These are four bite size, canape style tasters, consisting of slices of roosterkoek, garlic butter reduction, crisp rocket, slices of rump and our signature spicy Thai style sauce.
We have two meal options, our best seller, the Rump Roll, served on a freshly baked roosterkoek that we cook on site just before the market opens.
For those who prefer a bread free option we offer a great salad alternative, our Spicy Thai Rump Salad, which can be served with either 100g or 200g of rump.
All of our meat is served sliced for easier eating in a market setting.
Our signature spicy Thai sauce is made fresh prior to each market and contains high quality, fresh Thai ingredients.

Wyness Vineyards is a family-run wine business. Based in the heart of the Stellenbosch Wine Valley, we specialise in handcrafted wine with a difference. Ryan and Lisa are involved every step of the way, from soil to shelf, Wyness Vineyards is farmed and sold by the couple. With a loyalty to their family and to nature, the wines are self-cultivated from vineyard on the small farm in Stellenbosch to hand-labelling every bottle.
- Fun Facts:
The Wyness Vineyards adventure started when Ryan and Lisa met and fell in love when he came to do his Viticultural practical year on Lisa's family's wine farm!
The fish on the new label is for their son Conor who is an avid "catch-and-release" man and the Lochness monster is for their son Tristan, who is a paleontologist in the making!
